2026 Republican Candidate for the Colorado State Board of Education, Congressional District 7 Seat.
If elected, I would be the only board member with a hard-science, technology, engineering, math and medicine (STEM-M) background, and this should benefit Colorado schools as I’d better understand what education is needed to prepare students for higher education or trade training leading to jobs in these industries.
This website has just been reworked, I am open to suggestions for making it better.

» Parents Rights First, Then Students, Then Teachers. Schools should support parents, not replace them.
» Respect Privacy, Replace personally-identifiable dossiers reported to the State with statistical reports for grant justification.
» Audit possibly-problem districts to reduce fraud.
» Evict Politics from Schools - no more indoctrination or use of students as “useful idiots” for political purposes.
» Bring Businesspeople, Engineers, and Scientists into Schools to Help Teach Reality
» Upgrade Science and Math Education by Upgrading Teacher Training and Rewriting Textbooks to Teach Science with Math, and Math with Science — Update Education from Aristotle to at least Newton.
» Require Teacher Training Include Basic Business, and Require Some Math Problems be Based on Business.
» Cut In-School Screen Time to Improve Student Attention-Span.
» Make trade training available where possible.
The State Board and the Department of Education it controls is a huge department of Colorado government and usually uses 1/3 of the state budget. The only bigger line item in the “Long Bill” is medicaid—and the Feds many Medicaid costs. The board and department do not report to the Governor. This is not the small board of 1948. This board, although unpaid, controls a very significant and large portion of the State government, with the local school boards it regulates expends about 10 BILLION yearly.
We must flip the State Board of Education from 5/4 leftist-D to 5/4 moderate-R to allow conservative changes; this happens if I’m elected because only 3 seats (CD1, CD3, CD7) are up for election in 2026, and CD1 and CD7 are the only 2 seats with D incumbents. CD7 is likely the only seat capturable because CD1 (Denver) has a huge D voter registration advantage.
